Windows 7 Beta: First Look

On January 30th, 2007 Windows Vista was released. As you all know it was Microsoft’s next operation to follow Windows XP. It was a train wreck. Probably the worst idea Microsoft could have. It was supposed to be new and innovative. With all new features and a brand new look it was supposed to revolutionize your Windows experience. It pretty much did the exact opposite. With its visual intensity it ate up system memory and slowed down your processor. It looked good, but on the performance end it was horrible. This is especially true pertaining to gamers. Video game aficionados have said that when they run games some were getting around 25 frames per second; terrible. When they would load the same game in a Windows XP machine they were getting around 45 – 48 frames per second. We saw a new Windows Explorer, new start menus, tool bars, media player, as well as new application management tools. Overall this operating system was a mistake and almost ran Microsoft into the ground.
