Super Smash Bros. Brawl is almost here. March ninth marks the date at which all gaming Americans rejoice. In honor of this extreme title, I have decided to present a summary of what this game has to offer, and how the Smash Bros. series has evolved.
Brawl marks the third iteration of a game that started as a simple unique twist on fighting games, making it accessible to both extreme and passive gamers alike. It also marked the point at which an individual could finally decide who would win in a fight: Mario or Luigi, Bowser or Donkey Kong. With the newest game in the series, it takes this idea to a whole new level. No longer are the battles between Nintendo stars alone.
